The Value Lists component of SkillsPlus is used to manage common "user definable" lists of data. While the type of data will vary from lists to list, the basic premise of Value Lists is to allow administrators to set the parameters for certain data fields within the system that contain more than one option (such as those found in pull-down boxes). This process allows for greater flexibility than what would be found if all such data was pre-defined within the system - and allows administrators to establish and present their users with options that most closely meets the specific needs of their implementation of the SkillsPlus system.
