Value List Fields

Each Value List type is made up of a series of fields that contain various items of data. The fields utilized in a given list are dependent on the list type.

Available fields include:

Row - Identifies the row of data (This field may not be edited).

Rank/Order - When used for the purpose of Ordering this field provides a means to organize and sort the order of data. When used for the purpose of Ranking this field is used to present a hierarchical order (where "1" would equate to the highest ranking).

List Category - Used to identify one of more categories that fall within the selected list.

SkillsPlus Value - An internal value used by the SkillsPlus system to represent an item within a given list.

User Value - Used to establish and maintain the user representation of the SkillsPlus Value.

Description - Used to record the title or brief description of the selected item within the given list.

Misc. Value - Used to house various additional pieces of information required by the selected item.

Use as Default? - When set to "Y" this field indicates that the selected item will be presented to users as the default value within SkillsPlus. When set to "N" it indicates that the selected item will NOT be presented to users as the default value within SkillsPlus.

Active? - When set to "Y" this field indicates that the selected item is Active. The selected item is designated ad inactive when this field is set to "N".

Delete - Check box used to select an item to be removed from the list when performing a deletion.
