The concept, and use, of Courses (and Classes) within the SkillsPlus system can vary based on the specific needs of a given implementation/organization. In general, however, a Course can be defined as a training session, delivered over a pre-defined length of time, and focused on a specific topic area. A course can be delivered to various audiences of students at different points in time, in instances defined as Classes.
The Course component in SkillsPlus allows users to add, delete, and manipulate data related to Courses, including but not limited to assigning instructors to Courses.
It should be noted that some implementations of SkillsPlus do not use the Course component.
