Persons are defined in SkillsPlus as anyone who interacts with, as well as those for whom data is recoreded within, the SkillsPlus system. Instructors, students, system and data administration personnel are all considered Persons within SkillsPlus. The Persons component of the SkillsPlus system is used to manage various pieces of data on individuals including profile information, certificates held by the individual, and courses and classes in which the individual is enrolled or teaches. The Persons component can also be used to view a comprehensive portfolio of all attempts made at achieving skills in all classes where skills are tracked within the system.
As different types of indivduals are all managed within the Persons component, not all pages and fields will be relevant or utilized within an individual's profile.
