Extra Fields within the SkillsPlus system allows users to establish customized data fields in addition to those that are predefined within the system. When working with Extra Fields within the Persons component of the system, users can add and manipulate data within these fields. The Administrative Data component can also be set up to accept and assign data to any Extra Field. Field Names can be defined utilizing the Value List component of SkillsPlus.
After successfully performing a "Person Search," within the Persons component, you will be presented with a list of one or more persons. By selecting the "Edit" button next to the person you wish to work with, you will be brought to the "Person" sub-tab page. From the "Person" sub-tab page select the "Extra Fields" sub-tab page.
To manipulate data associated to the Extra Field you wish to work with, simply edit the text box in the "Field Value" column and click the "Apply Changes" button to save your entry. You can refresh the page to reflect an un-applied changes by selecting the "Refresh" button .
